Returns & Refund Policy

Made-to-Order Veneer Products

All of our veneer products are made to order, cut specifically to the dimensions selected by the customer at the time of purchase. As such, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, these goods are considered customised items, and are exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation and return period applicable to distance sales.

Therefore, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.


Product Handling on Delivery

All veneers are shipped rolled tightly in heavy-duty cardboard tubes and protected with cling film wrapping to prevent transit damage. Veneer is a natural raw material and typically only 0.5mm thick, which is industry standard in the UK.

Please take extreme care when unpacking the veneer:

  • Do not pull or forcefully remove the veneer from the tube.

  • Gently unwrap the cling film and allow the veneer to relax and flatten naturally before use.

  • Improper handling during unpacking can cause splitting or tearing of the leaves, which will not be considered a product fault.


Damaged or Defective Goods

If you believe your veneer has arrived damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing us at hello@veneersheets.co.uk with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the damage

  • A description of the issue

We assess damage claims on a case-by-case basis. Please note that natural variations in wood grain, tone, or texture are not considered defects.
